EP NL becomes TTEP

As of 29 April 2026, EP NL is part of TTEP, a newly established energy company and a 50/50 partnership between TotalEnergies and EPH.

This transition reflects the combination of European flexible power generation activities of both companies into one integrated platform. TTEP is  the second-largest flexible power generation player in Europe, focused on strengthening energy security and supporting the energy transition.

The rebranding to TTEP will be implemented in phases over the coming months and will be fully completed within six months.

Who is TTEP

TTEP is a 50/50 partnership between TotalEnergies and EPH, headquartered in Amsterdam. It brings together a portfolio of almost 30 sites across Europe, mainly gas-fired power plants – combined cycle and open cycle – complemented by biomass units and battery energy storage systems.

The assets are located in Italy, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands and France, and represent around 14 GW of capacity installed or under construction. In 2025, the portfolio generated close to 30 TWh of electricity. We are also active in the supply business in the Netherlands and Italy, and we operate a gas storage facility in the UK.

A strong Dutch foundation within TTEP

The Dutch activities form an important part of TTEP. The companies that previously operated under EP NL jointly operate four gas-fired power stations with a total capacity of 2.6 GW, playing an essential role in security of supply and grid stability. At the same time, we are investing in making these assets more efficient and more sustainable, strengthening our position in the Dutch B2B energy market, and developing an innovative battery storage project that is already under construction.

Martin Bartošovič CEO EP NL:We are confident that this partnership will create new opportunities for our customers, partners and employees in the Dutch market. The EP NL companies will continue to manage and deliver all activities on a day-to-day basis,”

What does this mean for EP NL?

With the establishment of TTEP, all current EP NL companies, including their subsidiaries, now formally fall under TTEP as the new parent organization. This change relates to ownership and governance at group level. The creation of TTEP does not result in changes to the day-to-day operations of EP NL. Existing roles, responsibilities, employment conditions and operational activities in the Netherlands remain unchanged.

We are gradually transitioning to TTEP

Over the next six months, we will transition step by step to TTEP, our new group name and brand identity. This rebranding reflects our evolution into a stronger European energy platform.

The transition will take place gradually. During this period, our activities, services and collaborations will remain unchanged and familiar.

Why TTEP?

With TTEP, we strengthen our position within the European energy market. It enables us to better leverage scale, expertise and flexibility, while continuing to invest in reliable and future‑proof energy solutions.

In this way, we combine continuity with greater strength — today and for the future.
