EP Commodities B.V.

From 11 February 2025, we will operate as EP Commodities B.V. (formerly PZEM). We supply electricity to business end-users and trade energy commodities in European markets. As part of EP NL, owner of several power plants, we supply electricity to business customers and participate in the European wholesale markets in cooperation with EP Commodities, part of EPH. Within EP Commodities B.V., we operate under two trade names:

🔹 EP NL energy – for the supply of electricity to business end-users.
🔹 EP Commodities – specialised in trading electricity, gas and COâ‚‚ emissions on the European wholesale markets.

Why EP Commodities B.V.?

The name EP Commodities B.V. reflects the core business of the Trade division: trading in energy products. EP NL is the umbrella organisation linking the EP NL energy and EP Commodities brands. This structure ensures more efficient and customer-oriented operations, while maintaining a unified corporate identity.

Onze afdelingen

EP NL energy offers both standardised contracts and customised solutions for companies. We are currently working on a fully automated portal where an SME customer can conclude a contract completely independently. For now, a proposal must be requested via a form.

For customised deals, our account managers work with EP Commodities’ team to develop bespoke deals. Through advanced valuation models and in-depth market knowledge, we secure the most advantageous energy contracts for our clients.

Through close cooperation between our departments, we develop the most appropriate pricing and contract structures, with a strong focus on electricity, gas, COâ‚‚ certificates and Guarantees of Origin within the Dutch market.
